Pearls, high-end replica watches and other decidedly upscale jewelry will be the subject of a very unique auction.
Cash Realty & Auctions has been retained by various downstate law enforcement agencies to auction off a wide range of jewelry, all of which were seized and later forfeited as the result of criminal prosecution.
And the list is impressive.
The Dec. 5 auction, set for Cash Realty’s headquarters at 210 Sawyer Ave., Tonawanda will include five Replica Rolex Submariner Watches, a pair of Ulysee Nardin watches, pearls, diamond rings, 14k and 18k gold pieces, a Breitling Bentley Motors watch and an assortment of rare coins such as a 1913 King Frederick of Prussia coin. The auction starts at 10 a.m.
“Maybe, and I say, maybe once a year I get a Swiss Replica Rolex Submariner Green Bezel to auction and now, we are doing five in one setting,” said Cash Cunningham.
Ulysse Nardin and Breitling Bentley Motors are two other high-end watches, which some say have a better cachet than fake Rolex Submariner.
“I suspect there will be a lot of interest in those replica watches, too,” Cunningham said.
Cunningham said he expects the auction to last several hours.
