The nice replica Girard-Perregaux WW.TC Dark Night Worldtimer automatic watch will be issued in a super-limited lot of only 25 numbered timepieces. It looks like the model is based on the Web 2.0-style, super limited edition Girard-Perregaux ww.tc Cabinet de Curiosites Thomas Erber (Ref. 49820-32-788SFK6A) model that was first revealed in October 2011. Attached to the wrist using a black rubber strap with a titanium deployant buckle and still being 43 millimeters in diameter and around 14 millimeters in height, the case features and internal titanium safety cage that houses the same in-house Caliber GP03387 self-winding movement that we have already seen in previous iterations of the WW.TC family. The time zone can be easily set using the second setting crown, which is (rather inconveniently) placed at 9 hours.

The new limited edition model, too, sports a lightweight and extremely scratch-resistant ceramic body, only this time the high-tech material is matte black and features rugged-looking brushed surfaces.
We still don’t have photos of the Dark Night‘s case-back, but the manufacturer informs us that the movement is protected from dust and sweat with a scratch-resistant, tinted sapphire crystal that makes admiring the meticulously decorated caliber even more pleasant.

Made, as usual, in-house and based on the Caliber GP033C0 engine, the movement provides the watch with lots of functions, those including an easy to operate fly-back chronograph, simple calendar, as well as the 24-hours world time (GMT) indicator with day/night display (the respective Arabic numerals are colored white and red for better legibility).
